This Tax Manager role focuses on leading Canadian tax engagements with an emphasis on advisory and strategic planning. You will oversee compliance work, provide proactive tax solutions to a diverse client base, and mentor team members while managing complex federal, provincial, and international tax matters.

What you will be doing

• Lead and manage tax engagement teams across federal, provincial, and international tax matters
• Review and oversee tax compliance filings, forms, and supporting documentation
• Deliver tax planning and advisory solutions to clients including owner-managed and national businesses
• Partner with clients on complex tax reporting issues and evolving business needs
• Research and advise on international tax matters
• Mentor and guide team members while helping set and achieve team goals

What the role requires

• Canadian tax experience in public accounting
• Demonstrated ability to manage tax engagements and review compliance work
• Strong advisory and tax planning capabilities
• Experience with international tax matters
