Accounting Manager / Client Services Manager

This Accounting Manager role involves managing a portfolio of owner-managed business clients, overseeing compilation and review engagements, and reviewing corporate and personal tax returns. The position includes supervising and mentoring accounting staff while providing tax advisory services and maintaining quality standards across client files.

What you will be doing

• Manage a portfolio of owner-managed business clients
• Review compilation and review engagements
• Review personal, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
• Provide year-end accounting and tax advisory services
• Assist clients with tax authority matters and compliance issues
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior through senior accounting staff
• Review work prepared by team members and ensure quality standards are maintained

What the role requires

• CPA designation required
• 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience
• Strong experience with compilations, reviews, and corporate tax
• Experience reviewing personal, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Strong knowledge of private enterprise accounting standards
• Proven leadership and staff mentoring experience
