This Accounting Technician role involves providing accounting support through preparation of working papers, data entry, payroll processing, and bookkeeping assignments in a high-paced public accounting environment. The position requires hands-on technical work including bank reconciliations, account reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance while responding to queries and supporting file completion.

What you will be doing

• Prepare and organize client working papers including bank reconciliations and technical accounting documents
• Process payroll including input, validation and testing
• Perform data entry and ongoing accounting analysis following established procedures
• Respond to queries from team members and update files as required
• Complete bookkeeping and full cycle accounting assignments
• Use technology tools to support service delivery and share knowledge with the team

What the role requires

• Diploma or certificate from a community college in business administration, accounting, or finance
• 1+ years of hands-on bookkeeping or full cycle accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage 50, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online
• Written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
