Senior Accountant Corporate Reporting

A Senior Accountant position focused on corporate reporting and financial statement preparation. The role involves monthly portfolio performance review, financial analysis, and supporting consolidated reporting processes. This position offers exposure to complex accounting operations and advancement opportunities within a growing team.

What you will be doing

• Review accounting and portfolio performance monthly, including tracking contributions, distributions, and cash management
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Enhance and document month-end procedures and workbooks to improve financial reporting accuracy
• Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements and management discussion and analysis
• Reconcile accounting and portfolio performance on a quarterly basis

What the role requires

• CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification
• Three or more years of accounting experience in industry or public practice
• Understanding of IFRS accounting and financial reporting standards
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Residential real estate expertise is desirable
