This Senior Manager Tax role involves leading tax compliance, provision, and planning across a portfolio of international subsidiaries. The position requires managing cross-border transactions, transfer pricing matters, and complex global tax issues while mentoring a team and collaborating with senior leadership on strategic tax matters.
What you will be doing
- Oversee tax compliance, provision, and planning for global operations across multiple jurisdictions
- Lead and mentor team members supporting cross-border transactions and transfer pricing
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provisions, reporting packages, and technical memos
- Partner with senior leadership and legal teams on tax strategy and regulatory interpretation
- Manage indirect tax, foreign tax, and compliance matters across international locations
- Drive process improvement initiatives, automation, and enhancement of internal controls
- Serve as primary liaison with auditors, external advisors, and tax authorities
What the role requires
- CPA designation required; In-Depth Tax or Master of Taxation preferred
- Minimum 7 years of progressive tax experience in multinational organizations or public accounting firms
- Strong technical knowledge in tax provision under IFRS or ASPE standards
- Demonstrated experience with transfer pricing and cross-border tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage tax audits and work effectively with internal stakeholders
