This position supports the administration of corporate insolvency proceedings, including bankruptcies, receiverships, proposals, and restructurings under federal legislation. The role involves case management, regulatory compliance, documentation, and stakeholder communication from file initiation through closure.
What you will be doing
- Administer insolvency files including bankruptcies, receiverships, proposals, and restructurings
- Prepare and file regulatory documents and court materials in compliance with statutory deadlines
- Maintain case files and track compliance requirements throughout proceedings
- Communicate with creditors, debtors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders
- Coordinate meetings of creditors and document proceedings
- Support file management from opening through final discharge or closure
What the role requires
- Experience administering corporate insolvency files under Canadian insolvency legislation
- Knowledge of bankruptcy, receivership, proposal, and restructuring processes
- Familiarity with regulatory filing requirements and court procedures in insolvency matters
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files with competing deadlines
