Supervisor/Manager Remote

This fully remote Supervisor/Manager role involves leading audit and assurance engagements for small to mid-sized public companies across diverse industries including investment funds, financial institutions, healthcare, and pension plans. You will manage engagements from planning through completion, supervise and develop staff, and ensure compliance with applicable reporting standards.

What you will be doing

• Manage audit engagements from planning through completion
• Prepare and review planning documents to ensure compliance with risk-based audit approach
• Delegate file sections to staff and supervise work for accuracy and completeness
• Lead technical training sessions and mentor junior staff throughout engagements
• Ensure all procedures are completed and documentation complies with internal policies and applicable accounting standards
• Resolve outstanding queries and communicate significant findings to senior leadership
• Review and finalize client deliverables including financial statements, schedules, and letters

What the role requires

• University degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with audit focus
• At least 1 year of experience as an Audit Manager in public accounting
• Proven experience leading and coaching teams
• Strong client-facing communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
