This is a Manager role in public accounting, responsible for leading assurance and tax engagements from planning through completion. You will supervise engagement teams, maintain quality control, develop client relationships, and identify opportunities to expand service delivery across a diversified client base.

What you will be doing

• Manage assurance engagements including audits, reviews, and compilation assignments
• Oversee tax files and provide technical tax guidance to clients and team members
• Supervise and allocate resources across multiple concurrent engagements
• Monitor engagement budgets and financial performance
• Mentor and train junior staff through coaching and technical knowledge transfer
• Identify business development opportunities within the existing client portfolio
• Apply quality control standards and ensure compliance with professional requirements

What the role requires

• 5+ years of public accounting experience
• University degree in Accounting
• Strong technical knowledge of ASPE with working knowledge of IFRS
• Demonstrated tax experience
• Experience leading engagement teams and mentoring staff
• Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines
